Joe began his career in 2007 on Sydney's Northern Beaches, honing his craft under a local builder for eight years, specializing in large-scale extensions. Seeking new challenges, he transitioned to a firm focusing on remedial work, where he acquired extensive experience in roof and water repairs.
In 2016, Joe founded his own carpentry business in Sydney's North Shore, intentionally starting small with a future plan to relocate and establish deeper connections with the land. Together with his partner Emma, they made the move north and now call Coffs Harbour home.
From rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking and surfing, to enjoying good wine, coffee and live music, Coffs was our choice.
In 2018, Joe Builds was incorporated, driven by a clear vision of sustainable construction. In 2023 they purchased their first property in Korora, and their most ambitious project yet is underway – stay tuned! 😊

Carpenter, Cabinetry Specialist, Tiler and Interior Designer. With his extensive background in construction and his keen eye for detail, Joshua takes charge of managing our kitchens and bathrooms as well as drafting plans and designing concepts. His exceptional organisational skills, coupled with his craftsmanship, enable him to deliver results while ensuring efficient project execution and client satisfaction.
